"Dulali"
24"x 31"

Made with Poser 7, Photoshop CS2, and Ulead PhotoImpact 7, printed on Arches Infinity rag paper with a Roland F-50 Inkjet printer

From the Sanskrit name "Dulari" meaning "lovable", these dolls represent the attempt of old used people to remake themselves in a young world. The inspiration for this piece came from my experiences living in the metaverse of Second Life where anyone with a computer can live, interact, and be whoever or whatever they please. It's a place where the mute can sing, the lame can dance and the destitute can live as Kings. The problem is that, in real life, one is always the same rag doll they started out to be.

I do custom portraits of Second Life avatars as a means of generating money to play the game. If you are an SL player and interested in my services please contact me here or IM Trindolyn Beck in-world or come visit the gallery where all my new works can be seen: India Ink Gallery

Prints are currently available at The Noyes Gallery in Lincoln, Nebraska. My prints are offered at original size, unframed, custom printed, signed, numbered and shipped to the customer. That way each piece can be matted and framed to suit the decor of the buyer. Nothing will be sold "off the wall". First run prints will be limited to ten (10) at the original size on fine art rag paper. Payment is due upfront and the customer should allow fourteen (14) days for delivery. Custom sizes can be purchased as long as they fit the aspect ratio of the piece and do not exceed 24" on the short edge. Custom sized and concurrent run prints will not be offered on fine art paper and will not be limited in quantity.

Prints are also available by e-mailing me directly from the link above. PayPal payments are an option.
